And why are we posting this picture?

This is our good buddy Chris Slick and he’s the new campaign manager for Chip Stockman. Who?  Chip Stockman. He’s one of three Republicans running to replace SC’s longest serving State Senator John Drummond.

Did you know that Senator Drummond was a fighter pilot during WWII?  That’s just awesome. We play on the computer, but while he was our ages, he was flying missions over Normandy.

He’s still the man, but he’s retiring this year and there’s a race to replace him. On the Republican side there’s Chip Stockman.  Starboard is running his race.  There’s Norman Outz’s. Rod Shealy is running his race.  And there’s Dee Compton. The Quinns are running his race and Trey Ward is his Campaign Manager. On the Dem side, Maylor Floyd Nicholson is running.  He will be tough to beat.

Also, there is a rodeo clown named Bryan Hope running as a Republican.  No, seriously…a darn rodeo clown.  We aint making that up.

For a pretty good update of what’s happening, check out this article.
