Fred Thompson, who played District Attorney Arthur Branch on NBC’s “Law & Order, recently got a little taste of his own medicine on YouTube. The video plays on the classic “Law & Order” sound effect used between scenes on the show to demonstrate how over the years Thompson has said multiple times that he would not be in favor of criminalizing abortion.
This is just another example of the ongoing “YouTube Wars”, which feature anonymous attacks coming from basically anyone with an internet connection. It truly is a different age in campaigning, and in this new age campaigns will have to find new ways to combat these attacks.
Anyways here the video:

Poor quality and poor English…not to mention he’s following the Constitution in leaving it to the states….I’m not impressed.
Ouch. This is they way politicians talk when they’re pro-choice but don’t want to come right out and say so.
Thompson is on record as favoring first trimester abortions (90% of all abortions happen in the first trimester). Thompson says he’s pro-life now, but he refuses to say whether he’s changed his mind about supporting first trimester abortions. Until he flips on that, I can’t support him.
Fred is a federalist and supports the tenants of the constitution. This position being that the federal governemnt should not have usurped the power to criminalize abortion and in fact should have no jurisdiction over abortion. Abortion laws are a states right and it is up to each state to legislate and promulgate the regulations pertaining to abortion. Thompson admits that he was pro first trimester abortion until he observed one of his latest children in his wifes womb. Since then he has had a change of heart and readily admits it.
It’s easy to spot a politician. Just wait until they open their mouth.
Sincerely,
Robert McCulloch
