State Senate Cooking Expensive Steaks

We haven’t been to Ruth’s Chris yet.  We hear a lot of really great things, but we just cant afford a $50 steak…with NO sides. Yeah, you have to buy the sides separate.  I would rather just spend $8 at Palmetto Pig and get unlimited sides of green beans and hash.

Anyway we decided tonight to finally try it out and when we went to make a dinner reservation we saw that the number is 212-6666.

So, what does that have to do with the State Senate. Well, according to the folks over at the South Carolina Senate Democratic Caucus, any phone number with a 212 prefix comes directly from the Gressette Building on the State House grounds where the State Senate offices are located.

Yeah seriously…remember this?
