Sparks in Sparkle City

Now that the presidential circus has left town we can concentrate on the really fun stuff - state leg races.

This year it looks like Spartanburg may be the place to watch. Jim Ritchie has tough primary opposition, Scott Talley v. Lee Bright should be fun to watch, and Allison v. Mahaffey will be hot, hot, hot. After all, that whole thing about Mahaffey registering all of Allison’s domains is pretty controversial.  Add on the Rick Beltram factor and Sparkle City will be spittin’ plenty of sparks this year.

Anyway, Jason Spencer over at the Spartanburg Herald Journal has a pretty good write-up on Spartanburg’s House races. You should check it out.
