Slapping the Governor around

What could be more fun?

After the Governor’s ridiculous comments against sprinkler legislation, the House today passed the bill “that uses tax incentives and other market forces to encourage businesses and homeowners to install fire sprinklers.”  Knowing that the Governor will shoot back some comment about the General Assembly being big tax and spenders, Speaker Harrell’s press release notes:

The incentives used in this plan are similar to the incentives championed by Governor Sanford last year in his plan to reform coastal property insurance.

For real?  Yeah, that just happened.

After this episode, and this other one, its about time the Governor works a little harder to fill his Communications Adviser position.

Mark Sanford opposed the sprinkler bill because the “right” people have not paid money to his nonprofits. Believe me, if he had a chance to grab some cash…his vote would change in a second…in fact it would change the second that the cash hit one of his 6 nonprofit bank accounts.

Has anyone ever heard Joel Sawyer speak any words other than “its political”!!!

The man is a one trick pony…and our lazy assed press lets him get away with it.

    Go figure…
