Whether you like Sanford or not, you gotta admit that he has a first class press operation. He is a total failure as governor, but his strategy of never spending his “political capital” (and in doing so screwing SC) has kept him floating high in the polls. But as his chance to “go national” comes closer, scandals are looming and problems are popping up for Sanford. There are several audits of his agencies, the public is becoming aware of his secret nonprofits that are collecting MILLION of undisclosed and unregulated dollars from out of state rich people, and claims of “unjust enrichment” are being investigated by several journalist in SC. It is assumed by some that as the national press corp begins to look at these issues, Sanford may find himself with a rocky road ahead.
