POTUS trumps Dawson’s media coverage

What if the Chairman of South Carolina’s Republican Party had a news conference today and nobody saw it? Would you still know that the SCGOP Primary date has moved to mid-January? Of course, because the news was leaked yesterday, but despite that fact; the announcement was still to be carried live across the nation. That is, until pesky ‘ole President Bush decided to call his own presser and answer questions from the press on Iraq and other matters of the day.

And the result? No live coverage for Katon who traveled all the way to New Hampshire to ensure the spotlight for his state and his party.

Doah! It seems life is not without its own sense of irony.
