New AP Poll for Iowa, NH, and SC

The Associate Press released three early state polls today for Iowa, New Hampshire, and most importantly South Carolina.

Here are the results:

Iowa

Mitt Romney- 25 percent

Mike Huckabee- 24 percent

Rudy Giuliani- 14 percent

Fred Thompson- 12 percent

Ron Paul- 5 percent

New Hampshire

Mitt Romney- 37 percent

Rudy Giuliani- 19 percent

John McCain- 15 percent

Ron Paul- 9 percent

Mike Huckabee- 7 percent

South Carolina

Rudy Giuliani- 19 percent

Mitt Romney- 19 percent

Fred Thompson-18 percent

John McCain, 13 percent

Mike Huckabee- 10 percent

Ron Paul- 6 percent

While Huckabee is surging in Iowa, it still looks like a Romney-Giuliani race right now.

Fasten your seatbelts, this is going to be a bumpy ride. There is one common denominator, Mitt leads or ties for the lead in all of the three states.

  2. Michael Casey Says:

South Carolina is not a 2-man race…Thompson’s at 18 and 1% is not a significant difference. Plus I’m thinking Ron Paul will “surprise” a lot of people in the actual race.

With 4 weeks until the Iowa Caucus, its anybody’s guess who will get the three tickets out of the Hawkeye State.
