McCain Pulls Off Huge Comeback

This one is for the history books. If you would have asked me six months ago about McCain chances of capturing the GOP nomination, I would have said very slim to none. But it looks like I was wrong (in my defense so were a lot of other pundits).

McCain still has a lot of work to do before he can claim the nomination. It appears this race will likely be decided by “Super Tuesday” voters on February 5th, but we still have primaries in Michigan, Nevada, South Carolina, and Florida beforehand. McCain is strapped for cash, and will need all the “Big Mo” he can get going into the “Super Tuesday” competition. It will be interesting to see if Thompson, Huckabee, Romney, or Giuliani will be able to stop him in any of the other early voting states.

I have absolutely no clue who going to win the nomination right now. It’s literally is anybody’s ball game. But we’ll get an interesting preview this Thursday at the Republican debate in Myrtle Beach. I’ll be reporting from there live with pictures and video of everything going on before, during, and after the debate so make sure to come back to the Shot for another debate round in South Carolina.
