I’ve worked closely with Representative Haskins and her son Brian, and both are smart, hard-working, dedicated individuals. Both also support Sen. McCain. The conclusions drawn from this “conversation” are speculative in the extreme. I can't help but wonder how many Romney staffers were paid to add their profound political analysis to this vital issue. Heaven forbid we exchange ideas around topics like health care, the war in Iraq, education, and the economy. I’ve seen some asinine threads in my day, but this one might just take the cake. Brian Haskins couldn't even return a phone call or an email. I have written off McCain and are now leaning equally toward Romney and Thompson. I've never met Brian, but his laziness tells me that his mother is most likely the reason he got the job in the first place.
