There are several issues that have trouble me regarding leadership in Washington and one of those issues is the lack of leadership on difficult issues such as social security, the war, fighting those who wish to kill us and the American dream. This is really the first time that I am fearful of this election and the people who are running both on the left and right. I am not sure who to vote for, and if the worst happens and an Obama or Clinton gets voted in the mess that will occur is frighting.
Then there is the left overs of the 1960’s code pink and the rest of the left over hippies, who are now in government. This is a stark reminder of Vietnam and blaming troops for what they were asked to do. When do all the leaders stand up and say the behavior in Berkely is unacceptable. I just do not see it and this is what I mean about lack of leadership, and should become a disucssion on a national level. Enough is enough.
I am thankful that you are standing up and bring attention to ear marks, Berkely stiutation.
A couple of other points that should be talked about and that is health care. Take a look at Hilary care. There is enough material to put both Hilary and Obama on the defensive. I think the key is to look at how difficult it is to manage anything in Washington and in fact government does run health care. States in particular madate what needs to be covered and the other issue is law suites. All you need to do is look at ads’ on Televison on how to sue for what drug or treatement.
I really believe that Law makers should take a course on total qualty management. If they could learn that every action they take cause and action that does have an effect that impacts many areas, which could appear to be a postive, but if you really looked at the complete picture you might find that there are more negatives than postive and would cause you to rethink your change.
Fianally, our mission should be America first, and all our actions should be looking at making American better and get the special intrest people out of the way. The speical intrest should be for all of America, not just the folks who are the power brokers. The American people need to get their voice back, so when we speak the people in Washington hear and do things like secure the boaders and open our oil wells and stop paying the poeple who want to kill us $90.00 a barrel to finiance their efforts.
