Yes, David, Fred Thompson is a CFR member: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Thompson.

Not only that, but
1. He has deliberately waited to enter the race so as to miss important public debates.
2. He supported John McCain’s candidacy in 2000.
3. He argued for the McCain-Feingold legislation that regulates the content, timing and amount of political speech (amounting to a trampling of our right to free speech, as protected by the Constitution).

In other words, Fred Thompson is no different from John McCain on some of the major issues. Should he become President, his involvement with the CFR will guarantee a continuing erosion of the sovereignty of the USA.

You would do well to support a true Constitutionalist: Ron Paul.

Is it true that Fred Thompson is a member of that North American Unionist group the Council on Foreign Relations? Where does Mitt and Rudy stand on that count?
