Former Republican candidate for Superintendent of Education Kerry Wood.

Kerry was the consultant of record for Shane Martin who just beat incumbent Jim Ritchie.

A lot of candidates beat incumbents with the help of consultants, but Jim Ritchie is no light wait. He’s a real mover and shaker in Columbia and he is widely seen as someone moving up in South Carolina politics.

Now, Jim Ritchie’s political career isn’t over quite yet. We fully expect him to bounce back. He’s smart, hard working, and passionate about service.

We just thought we would give Kerry some props for one heck of a strong campaign.

They look the same, the Governor says the same thing…

And they were all added to YouTube on the same day - June 22nd. Now, that might not seem like a big deal, but this Scott Singer ad and this Lee Bright ad have too many similarities to this Katrina Shealy ad paid for by Carolinians for Change.

For candidates who say they aren’t tied up with third party groups, they sure are tied up with third party groups.

This ad sure does look a lot like this ad, yet one is paid for by a campaign and the other by a third party group. Something fishy going on here.

Next thing you know, they will start running campaigns out of the Governor’s Office and even Joel Sawyer will become a spokesman for campaigns. Oh wait…
