We just ran into this mail piece over at Mike’s America (a well written blog worth checking out). Notice the indicia - BBPR. That’s Bonnie Blue Public Relations, Robert Cahaly’s firm. Cahaly started out with John Cox, then jumped to Duncan Hunter, and now he looks to be with Mike Huckabee.

Dang! I thought these guys were like BFF or something. Here’s DeMint’s statement after hearing that US Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma has endorsed John McCain:
2000 seems like ages ago, doesn’t it? Eight years has flown by, but while we’ve gone about our normal lives in South Carolina, John McCain has continued living his Washington life. Despite being part of the business as usual Washington crowd, John McCain’s heart never left our Palmetto State. Here it stayed, growing with anger by the minute in remembrance of a presidency that could have been. (more…)
Rather than doing a post on every thought I have during the debate I’m going to use this post for my live thread. Stay tuned because this debate is about to kick off… [9:01] Katon does another debate intro video and introduces country singer Calvin Gilmore. Not a bad gig for Katon, and it doesn’t hurt the name ID either. BTW mad props to the SCGOP staff lead by “Boy Wonder” Jay W. Ragley for putting together a great event. (more…)

This one is for the history books. If you would have asked me six months ago about McCain chances of capturing the GOP nomination, I would have said very slim to none. But it looks like I was wrong (in my defense so were a lot of other pundits).
You all know we give Fred Thompson a hard time, but we aren’t a MSM outlet. We are a blog, so we have a little more freedom to do whatever the hell we want.
The Politico on the other hand is a MSM outlet, so they have to be a little more careful as to not influence the outcome of an election. That’s why they’re story this morning about Fred Thompson is just harsh. Jonathan Martin and Mike Allen reported this morning, ELECTION DAY:
We don’t know about his strategy to skip the early states, but we do know that his ad team knows what the heck they are doing…whoever they are.
Rudy’s new ad is pretty BA.

Chuck Norris is a legend. His endorsement of Mike Huckabee certainly helped him climb rapidly in the polls. But today Mitt Romney is using Norris’ own words against Mike Huckabee. Citing Norris’ column on the popular conservative news website Worldnetdaily.com, Romney uses the action superstar’s past statements to illustrate why Huckabee is soft on crime.
See for yourself:
Looks like Team Romney just successfully landed a roundhouse kick to Mike Huckabee.
