Buchanan’s Team Raising Cash for Buddy Witherspoon
It seems that Pat Buchanan’s team is raising cash for Lindsey Graham primary opponent Dr. Buddy Witherspoon in Washington, DC.
One of the hosts was Marcus Epstein, the E.D. of Team America PAC (Tancredo’s organization) and The American Cause (Buchanan’s organization). Isn’t it a bit ironic that an RNC Committeeman would have an event hosted by a Buchanan guy since Pat Buchanan divided the GOP by running against Bush 41 in 1992 and later left the GOP to run against Bush 43 in 2000 on the Reform Party ticket? Could this be that “DC fundraiser” that Katon Dawson was talking about this morning in The Greenville News?

How is this “ironic” that a Buchanan supporter would support Buddy, just because Pat “divided” the GOP. Pat Buchanan is a true conservative who puts principle above party.

I detect a hint of jealousy that the Shot people can’t get on CNN as much as Pat Buchanan.
But who really cares about that. Lindsey sucks. From what I can tell, Witherspoon is pretty much always in opposition to… guess who… Ted Kennedy—even when in the president and the beloved Graham occasionally side with him.
And besides, it ought to bother people, personally, a little more than it seems to be, that Lindsey (and McCain) side with Kennedy (and people like them, aka La Raza, or Feingold) as often as is possible for a Republican. This is South Carolina for God’s sake.

Dear The Shot:
Will you please rethink the outrageous accusation in this ridiculous article? As if a ‘link’ or association to Pat Buchanan is a bad thing for a Lindsey opponent… PUH-LEEZE! And Witherspoon is supposed to be anti-Bush because of this? Back in the real world, Pat Buchanan did more for Bush in 2004 (against Kerry) than pretty much any living human being in South Carolina. And surely Pat’s runs for the GOP nomination, esp. in 1996, qualify him as a better Republican than most of the phoney GOP candidates who are running now.
This article really shows poor taste, to try to come up with something out of nothing to smear a man who has been an excellent RNC committeeman for South Carolina for 11 years.
It will be a disgrace to every Republican U.S. Senator (and Congressman) who is not part of the ‘Gang of 14′, if they do not endorse Buddy Witherspoon—and that includes The Shot’s beloved Jim DeMint.

Lindsey Graham supports amnesty and open borders.
Where’s the news story?
If anything, the question should be why good conservatives like Jim Demint, Joe Wilson, and Gresham Barrett showed up to a fundraiser with Graham?

Didn’t the State Democratic Chairman say something like Graham “Is the
best Democrat we have in the Senate.” Buddy Witherspoon is a true
Republican who fights for conservative values. Lindsay Graham is a
closet Democrat who cozies up with Ted Kennedy. Any real Republican
should Dump Graham.

Senator Graham has brought this on himself. He has let down those people in Sourh Carolina who supported him in 2002. I was one of them. If we had known what he would he would not be a Senator. Illegal immigrants, A little to close to some Big Busines, to close to Liberal Democratic, and has let down the people who got him in the senate. It is time for him to go.
